The 3rd annual Digital Underground Connect (DUConnect) at Geo Connect Asia is a wrap! In sessions spanning two conference days, we connected government authorities, industry leaders, and practitioners to discuss challenges, share best practices, and explore solutions for sustainable underground mapping and development.
Main Stage: Building Sustainable Futures with Digital Underground Twins.
We heard from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore, the Lands Department of HKSAR, and PORTCOAST CONSULTANT CORPORATION from Vietnam on how digital twins are transforming underground infrastructure management. The speakers were joined by a representative from JUPEM in Malaysia to discuss key challenges and potential solutions.

Expert Stage: Digital Underground: Towards A Sustainable Utility Mapping Ecosystem
The first expert stage session showcased international efforts from Singapore, Japan, and The Municipality of Rotterdam on mapping and managing the underground.

Expert stage: Underground Imaging: Workflows and technology for mapping the underground
The second expert stage delved into innovative workflows and solutions for accurate and efficient underground utility mapping. Screening Eagle Technologies also presented their cutting-edge multichannel ground penetrating radar technology.

This event provided a valuable platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing in the digital underground space. See you next year at GCA 2025, 9-10 April in Singapore!
